The filter object of the subhigh efficiency air filter is dust with a particle diameter of 1 to 5μm. The filter material is generally glass fiber paper, ultrafine polypropylene fiber paper and so on. Its structure types are thin plate type, partition frame type and form wedge structure.
The sub-high efficiency air filter has the advantages of high efficiency, large dust capacity, low resistance and good sealing performance. It can be used as a terminal filtration device for clean rooms and ultra-clean workshops, and can also be used as an intermediate filter for advanced clean rooms. The air filter can be used for filtration in the air where the operating temperature is less than 60 ° C and the relative humidity is less than 80%. The filter is made of wood or metal galvanized steel plate as the outer frame, and 80% cotton fiber and 20% alkali-free ultra-fine glass wool mixed fiber paper as the filter material. 2. According to the method prescribed in JG/T22-1999 "Performance Test Method for General ventilation air filters", the filter with atmospheric dust counting efficiency of ≥0.5μm particles is ≥95% and <99.9% for sub-high efficiency air filters.

5. The initial resistance of the sub-high efficiency air filter should be less than 120Pa. When designing, the final resistance can be calculated as the filter resistance according to twice the initial resistance.
6. The air filter should meet the fire protection requirements, and the flash point of the paint of the air filter should not be lower than 163 ° C.
7. Sub-high efficiency air filters should not be used independently, and should be combined with coarse and medium efficiency air filters.
